Blackpool midfielder Gary Taylor-Fletcher is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks due to an ankle ligament tear.

The 28-year-old midfielder sustained the injury during training after colliding with team-mate Alex Baptiste.

"Fletch collided with Alex Baptiste and if you collide with Baps then God help you," said Seasiders boss Ian Holloway.

"Luckily Fletch has not broken anything but an ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital.

"Fortunately nothing was broken or fractured, he has however torn a ligament in his ankle."
