Kane able to make loan switch

Published Add your comment

Darlington have completed their third loan signing of the week by bringing in Carlisle defender Tony Kane on a month-long deal.

The 22-year-old joined the Brunton Park club from Blackburn at the end of last season following a successful loan spell.

However, he has made only one appearance for the Cumbrians so far this season - against Morecambe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Kane goes straight into Colin Todd's squad for Saturday's home game against Bournemouth, along with fellow new arrivals Russell Hoult and Jamie Devitt.
