Parkinson unconcerned over altercation

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson has shrugged off the FA probe into a fracas at Norwich last weekend.

Players from both sides came together in the tunnel at half-time, moments after Addicks skipper Nicky Bailey had appeared to kick out at Norwich captain Grant Holt. Referee Steve Tanner included the incident in his match report, with the League One encounter finishing in a 2-2 draw, but Parkinson will be taking no action against his players.

"It was something of nothing and hopefully it will blow over," Parkinson told the South London Press.

"I haven't felt the need to talk to any of my players about it."
