Dunn deal as Rovers rebound to win

Published Add your comment

David Dunn kept his nerve to fire home an 89th-minute penalty and wrap up a superb Barclays Premier League 2-1 victory for 10-man Blackburn at Ewood Park.

Rovers had gone behind to Gabriel Agbonlahor's third-minute strike and after Chris Samba equalised they had midfielder Vince Grella sent off in the 68th minute.

But the home side kept pushing forward and were rewarded with their spot-kick chance when Richard Dunne handled Franco di Santo's effort in the dying minutes.
