Published Add your comment

Lee Hughes scored twice in a 3-1 win over Port Vale to take his tally to the season for nine to keep Notts County seventh and at least end the week on a high for the Magpies following the Sol Campbell saga.

Bradford are up to ninth as they stretched their unbeaten run to seven games with a 3-0 victory over Chesterfield at Valley Parade, with Michael Flynn, Scott Neilson and Chris Brandon the scorers.

Bury required two late goals from Ryan Lowe and David Worrall to defeat Lincoln 2-0 at Gigg Lane.

Whilst a brace from Hamza Bencherif helped Macclesfield come from behind at Moss Rose to beat Torquay 2-1 following Elliot Benyon's opener.
