Heaton plays waiting game

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton admits he is frustrated not to have played more at QPR but insists he is happy to bide his time.

The 23-year-old, on-loan from Manchester United for the season, has only made two Carling Cup appearances since signing for Jim Magilton's side in the summer.

"QPR is a very good club, I get on with all the players and the staff have been excellent," he told Manchester United`s official website. "It's been a touch frustrating to have played just two games, but that's football sometimes. You have to be patient, but Radek Cerny has done very well to be fair."

He added: "I accept that and I just have to keep striving to be in the team. Obviously I'm hopeful that at some point I'll be in there."
