Huntington extends Hatters stay

Published Add your comment

Leeds defender Paul Huntington has extended his emergency loan at League One rivals Stockport by another 28 days.

The 22-year-old's initial one-month loan is due to expire on October 10, but the clubs have come to an agreement for him to stay for an extended period subject to Football League approval.

The former Newcastle defender has so far made five appearances for Stockport, and looks set to return to the side at Tranmere on Monday after missing Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Port Vale due to suspension.
