Pulis in Imps switch

Lincoln have signed midfielder Anthony Pulis on a month's loan from Southampton.

The 25-year-old, son of Stoke boss Tony, becomes the second signing by new Imps manager Chris Sutton following Adam Watts' arrival from Fulham last week.

Pulis will go straight into the squad for the League Two trip to Macclesfield on Saturday.

"He likes a tackle but has a good brain and can play," said Sutton.

"Myself and (assistant boss) Ian Pearce saw him play a couple of weeks ago. He covers many positions which I think is useful for us at the moment as we don't have a lot of cover in a number of areas.

"It's a good opportunity for him to come in and I'm sure he'll do very well."
