Asa FIFA 18 inches closer towards us every day, we learn new things about the impending game.

The hit franchise has had it's work cut out for a few years now to keep topping their previous efforts, but EA brought in a game changer last season with the introduction of The Journey.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the game mode, The Journey allows you to play as youngster Alex Hunter as he makes his way in the professional game and rises through the ranks.

It's a gradual process that sees the player sent out on loan initially before returning to the club and, depending on how you play, leading them to glory.

It's been known for some time now that The Journey will be returning with a second installment in the 2018 version of the game, but details thus far have been scarce.

Until now. A leaked image from a FIFA sub-reddit appears to leak six leagues you can take your skills to: Brazil, England, Spain, Germany, France and the U.S.

Almost 14 million gamers played The Journey in FIFA 17 and it was a no-brainer for EA to bring the popular game mode back, but what are they going to do with Hunter?

Dream Team FC have gotten a chance to play the first 20 minutes of the game and they made some significant discoveries along the way.

For instance, you have to play as Alex Hunter - there is no creating your own character. However, you can customise Hunter in several different ways to make him unique for you.

According to the guys at Dream Team, Hunter's agent approaches him and his grandfather claiming that Real Madrid are interested in securing his services. That would explain some imagery that has been doing the rounds recently where Hunter talks to Ronaldo.

However, in Hunter's opening games for his current team - which is Chelsea during Dream Team's simulation - the striker is booed by his own fans and regarded as a snake in the dressing room.

Following a game, Hunter's agent, Michael, grabs him from his flat and packs him into the bag of a taxi. Hunter asks him why he had to be rushed out of his flat, and Michael turns to him and says: "I'm trying to save your career."

That's where the game stopped for Dream Team, but it is clear there are some big moves and big decisions for the gamer ahead!
