The verbal back and forth between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather has been brutal, as the two superstars look to score a psychological edge ahead of their mega fight on August 26.

The current press tour has been an expletive-riddled, unapologetic, rage fest, with both men holding nothing back to the delight of the watching public around the globe.

All sorts of words have been flung around as the tour moved from Los Angeles to Toronto.

The massive crowd in Toronto was quite evidently on Conor McGregor's side, as the Irishman took advantage of the favourable conditions to let loose on Mayweather repeatedly.

The crowd chanted "pay your taxes" at Mayweather when he took the stage as the whole show started to resemble the controversial American presidential race between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton.

McGregor accused Showtime of cutting his microphone during the first press conference in Los Angeles, while Mayweather called McGregor a quitter, referring to the UFC fighters losing record, which includes a tap-out.

While the bitter verbals seem to be doing the job of ramping up the hype surrounding the bout, it might be safe to say that many people cannot wait for the talking to come to an end so that business can be conducted with the fists.

Strangely enough, its seems Floyd Mayweather may just be a member of that brigade, after turning to a different tactic during the Toronto conference.

The undefeated American chose to put words on the backburner and began to dance bizarrely in front of McGregor, who was less than enthused as he watched on.

Looks familiar?

Well, that's because McGregor was dancing in front of Mayweather during the first press conference whilst they were enduring their face-off.

The McGregor sympathetic crowd also booed and jeered as Mayweather made quite the spectacle of himself on stage as he perhaps tried to recreate an Irish jig.

The super fight is due to take place in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
