Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather do not like each other, of that there is no doubt.

If there had been any previously, this week's press tour has well and truly expelled any notion of there being an amicable relationship between the two superstars.

The verbal back and forth has been unprecedented and the world has watched as each combatant has tried to better the other's brutal trash talk.

The bout is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26, and by that point, anticipation levels will undoubtedly be at an all time high.

Many fans are desperate for the time when the fists will do the talking, but for now, expletive-laden promotional press conferences will have to do.

It's fair to say that, while Mayweather reigned supreme at the Los Angeles promotional event, Conor McGregor came out on top in Toronto.

The Irishman made the most of the favourable crowd unleashing a torrent of abuse on Mayweather and his supporters.

Mayweather tried his best to reply, but the hostile crowd was having non of it as they booed and chanted at the undefeated American who even went as far as to drape himself in an Irish flag he took from the crowd.

Eventually, having accused McGregor of being a quitter, Mayweather challenged the Irishman to bet his purse for the fight if he is so confident.

McGregor called his bluff and responded coldly to Mayweather suggestions.

"No f*****g problem."

However unlikely such a bet may seem, with each man reportedly set to earn at least $100 million from the mega-bout in Sin City, it would be remiss to put it past McGregor who might not be opposed to a $200 million pay-day.
