During the past year, Kevin Durant has received a lot of stick for his decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder and move to the Golden State Warriors, and that stick is still being given out today by some of the unlikeliest of people.Still, Durant is the one that is having the last laugh at the moment, as during the past season, he was one of the main reasons why the Warriors were able to win an NBA Championship after a Finals victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also won the Finals MVP award after averaging 30-plus points a game while being marked for most of the time by LeBron James. However, this performance didn't stop former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning from taking a dig at the Golden State player at the ESPYs last night. The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos star was the host of the ESPYs on Wednesday night to celebrate another fantastic year of sport, but he couldn't help and join in on the fun and take a pop shot at the Finals MVP.In celebration of the success of the US gymnastics team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Manning suggested that Durant wanted to leave the Warriors and play for the US gymnastics team next year instead.

Manning said with a smile: "Our gymnastics team was so dominant, that Kevin Durant told me he wants to play for them next year."

This joke received many laughs from the audience, except Durant himself, who had a very stern look on his face like he was annoyed. He even reacted on Twitter with an expressionless face emoji.

Manning even topped up his joke by asking Thunder star and Durant's former teammate Russell Westbrook what his opinion on Durant's possible switch to gymnastics, but the 2017 NBA MVP wasn't impressed either.

Hate to be a party-pooper, but this reaction definitely looks like this joke and reaction was planned out. If you look carefully at the footage, you can see Durant's mother Wanda sitting next to the Warriors star, laughing her head off at her son's expense.

Nevertheless, it was still a brilliant joke.
