Windsor & Eton manager Keith Scott believes he could represent a potential 'Plan B' in Wycombe's search for a new boss.

The former Chairboys striker has registered his interest in the vacancy at Adams Park and has spoken to Wycombe chairman, Ivor Beeks, about taking up the post.

"I'm sure they will have someone in mind, at this professional level they always have targets in mind," Scott told the Windsor Observer. "If they don't get that target they have to have a plan B."

He added: "I'm convinced they have a target in mind to be in place for that game (Saturday's clash with Colchester) and in the next two or three days they will look to announce it.

"But if they can't get that target and if plan B is Keith Scott then fantastic. If not then I will still go down there and support the club and hope whoever it is can lead the club to safety."
