Conor McGregor's performance yesterday (Wed. July 12, 2017) was significantly better than his initial showing on Tuesday evening.

The UFC lightweight champion is set to make his professional boxing debut against, arguably, the greatest of all time in the undefeated legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. The pair will clash next month in Las Vegas for what many are calling the greatest combat sporting event in history. The pair have been a part of a four stop World Tour to promote the bout, in which they have been unleashing a slew of trash talk towards one another.

Things kicked off on Tuesday when the two stars stopped in Las Angeles' Staples Center. McGregor got things off to a hot start, however, it was Mayweather who stole the show with an uninterrupted rant against the Irishman when it was his turn to take center stage.

"The Notorious One" was frustrated that he was unable to verbally defend himself after his mic was seemingly cut, but Showtime claims zero responsibility for doing so. The following day in Toronto, McGregor kicked things off with a tremendous promo towards Mayweather and Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza.

It was McGregor's gifting of the nickname 'Boxing's biggest b*tch' to Mayweather that stole the show (quotes via LowKickMMA):

“I just want to speak to all the boxing pu**ies, all the supposed experts,” McGregor said. “You’re f*cking crazy if you think this man stands a chance. His head is too small!

"One shot is all it takes me, check the facts, I bounce heads off the canvas and dribble that sh*t! He tip-tap-toes to a decision. He has never even fought a day in his life. He’s a runner. He’s boxing’s biggest b*tch!”

McGregor is claiming that, despite the fact he has never competed in a professional boxing fight in his combat sports career, he will finish the 49-0 "Money" within five rounds. Mayweather himself claims he will finish his Irish counterpart, saying McGregor will either go out on his face or on his back.

Later today the pair will once again show off their respective gifts of gab when they meet on the third leg of their World Tour in New York.

Mayweather and McGregor will go head-to-head inside the squared circle next month (Sat. August 26, 2017) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada live on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV).
