Ipswich have swooped to sign Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on a three-month loan deal.

The Bosnia international, who has been at Fratton Park since 2003, has made four appearances for the Premier League strugglers, including matches against Arsenal and Manchester City this term.

The 22-year-old has also had loan spells at La Louviere, Macclesfield, Bournemouth and Yeovil.
