The doubles draws at Wimbledon do not tend to get much attention until later in the second week when the number of singles matches become less and less.

Now that the singles finals are in place, doubles matches are getting more airtime, and former Wimbledon champion Kim Clijsters was doing her best to draw attention to the ladies invitational doubles after pulling a random fan out of the crowd and making him play a point after he suggested she go for a body serve.

Clijsters even went as far as to try and dress the fan so that he met the Wimbledon dress code of all white, offering him one of her skirts from her bag.

Unfortunately, the skirt was less than a perfect fit and it took some severe pulling and tugging before the reluctant garment stretched to fit the bulky fan.

Clijsters was probably secretly relieved that her dress didn't fit the male.

Eventually however, the fan was dressed appropriately for Wimbledon play after being given a white shirt to compliment his precariously tight skirt, and he took his place on the baseline ready to face the Clijsters serve.

The Belgian could not contain her laughter as she readied herself to serve and the delighted crowd joined in the merriment.

Finally, Clijsters was able to deliver a serve which the fan stunningly returned to the amazement of all present.

His return was less than venomous, however, and Clijsters' partner made light work of it to win the rally and the game.

Clijsters then delivered two more serves in his direction just to check if the first return had been a fluke, and it quickly became clear that it was after he failed to get anywhere near returning the next couple.

The players then posed for a photo with the fan before continuing their game in one of the most memorable incidents in a long time at The All England Club.

Attention will again turn to the singles on the weekend, however, with the ladies final set to take place on Saturday followed by the gentleman's final on Sunday.
