The Conor McGregor/Floyd Mayweather road show rolled into London on Friday night after a number of fiery encounters earlier in the week as the pair look to ramp up the anticipation surrounding their August bout.

This week's press tour has garnered an unprecedented amount of attention worldwide, with both combatants holding absolutely nothing back in a brutal verbal battle as they seek to gain a psychological edge over their opponent.

The super-fight, as it is being called, will take place in Las Vegas on August 26 and will pit one of the greatest boxers of his generation against an MMA fighter who has never boxed professionally in his life.

Ordinarily, this would be considered one of the biggest mismatches in history, but considering McGregor is one of the most successful and feared MMA fighters on the planet, many are giving the Irishman a chance of beating the undefeated American.

Mayweather, on the other hand, is confident that he will come out on top at the T-Mobile Arena and already feel like he is getting under McGregor's skin.

Mayweather was speaking in an interview following the London leg of the whirlwind press tour.

"When we are going back and forth, when McGregor gets up there and speaks, I sit back and let him speak his piece, say what he has to say. I just sit quiet," said the American superstar.

"When it is my turn to go up, I get to speaking, he gets to interrupting me, so it is obvious I am getting under his skin."

Mayweather was also quick to dispell any notion that McGregor's manic rants were having any effect on him, saying: "No, I am not worried about that.

"I never needed Conor McGregor when I made $800million. But he is a great dance partner and I do need him for August 26.

"I am happy to be back in the UK. It has been a great tour, I take my hat off to my team. We have done a great job building this event."

The world is expected to grind to a halt when these two take to the ring in August and finally all the talking comes to an end.
