The 2017/18 Premier League season kicks off in August and clubs have been trying to complete their transfer business as quickly as possible.

Some of the top teams are getting ready to head off on pre-season tours around the world, while others have even begun theirs and having the new players on board is essential.

Manchester United arrived in Los Angeles early last week and have already played LA Galaxy, beating them 5-2.

Their newest signing, Romelu Lukaku, featured in the game after completing his £75 million move from Everton.

Jose Mourinho will be desperate to get the Belgian into top form ahead of the upcoming campaign, so these games are very important for him and the rest of the team.

Reigning champions Chelsea are yet to leave for their tour of the Far East.

The Blues take on Arsenal in Beijing on July 22, before travelling to Singapore to play Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

The squad will leave London on Monday, meaning that their latest buy, Tiemoue Bakayoko, arrived in time to join the tour.

The Midfielders £40 million move was announced by Chelsea on Saturday. He joined from AS Monaco, who won Ligue 1 and reached the Champions League semi-finals last season.

Bakayoko was a key member of that young French side, catching the attention of fans across Europe and he arrives in England as a highly rated player.

Following his move to Stamford Bridge, the Frenchman had some kind words for his new partner N'Golo Kante and outlined what he wants to achieve next year.

"N'Golo Kante has proved it all," Bakayoko told Chelsea's website. "To play alongside him would be something very good for me and it can help me progress.

"I have played a match with him for the French national team so we know each other very well and I hope we can do beautiful things together this year."

At only 22-years-old, it's clear Bakayoko has the confidence needed to perform at the top. And he's targeting international success as well next summer.

"I have the ambition to play as many matches as possible, to progress as much as I can with a great coach like Antonio Conte, and then I have the objective of taking part in the World Cup at the end of the season."

To secure a place in France's World Cup squad, Bakayoko will have to perform every time he steps on to the pitch for Chelsea.

And with the club in the Champions League, he has the perfect opportunity to impress.
