Most of the big-name players on the free agent market and on the trading block have already found new teams this summer, but a few stars remain available.

The Portland Trail Blazers have remained quite this offseason, but star guard C.J. McCollum would like to see that narrative change in the near future.

On Sunday, he posted a picture on his Instagram page making it clear which star he'd like the Portland front office to make a trade for before the 2017-18 season tips off.

As you can see in the post below, McCollum likes the way current New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony looks in a Blazers uniform and shared the photo on his Instagram:

McCollum posted the photo with no caption, instead letting the image speak for itself, which it certainly did. After two hours, it already had more than 30,000 likes and a number of passionate comments - both for and against the potential deal.

With star point guard Damian Lillard already teaming up with McCollum to form one of the NBA's most dynamic backcourt tandems, adding Melo to the offense would make Portland even scarier and tougher for opponents to guard.

However, at the moment, it appears Anthony's attention is focused on the Houston Rockets, as there have been numerous rumors linking the two parties after Houston traded for superstar point guard Chris Paul earlier this month.

Interestingly enough, the Blazers have been connected to Anthony, but only as a team that could help facilitate the forward's trade from New York to Houston.

But, according to ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, the Blazers don't want to help one of their Western Conference foes land a superstar:

"One team that New York and Houston had hoped would facilitate a multiteam trade for Anthony, the Portland Trail Blazers, plans to participate in a deal for Anthony only if he decides to expand his no-trade clause to include them, league sources told ESPN," Wojnarowski writes.

"Portland believes the addition of a player such as Anthony would furnish it with talent and depth comparable to those of the top Western Conference contenders, except for the Golden State Warriors, league sources said. Because of that, the Blazers have little, if any, inclination to facilitate an Anthony deal that would land him with a Western Conference rival such as Houston, league sources said."

Whether the Blazers have what it takes to land Antony remains to be seen, but with all the drama surrounding Melo this offseason, the rumors are seemingly just getting started.
