It's been a quite incredible summer transfer window for AC Milan, yet it could be about to get even better for manager Vincenzo Montella.

So far, the Italian side have signed no less than 10 players, including Leonardo Bonucci (£40m) from Juventus and Andre Silva (£32m) from Porto.

Among those to have also joined are Andrea Conti, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez and Lucas Biglia for a combined £85 million.

Franck Kessie and Fabio Borini have joined the club on loan, too, but according to the Daily Mail and Sky Sports, Milan are not finished yet - far from it.

Not only is Alvaro Morata 'on the verge' of joining from Real Madrid for £61 million, but Montella is in talks with Bayern Munich about loaning Renato Sanches.

Should Milan succeed in signing both players, their possible starting XI for the 2017/18 season would be absolutely ridiculous.

So ridiculous, in fact, that Juventus' dominance in Serie A could be about to come to an end, having won the title every season since 2010/11.

Milan would have plenty of options if they signed Morata and Sanches, so selecting a possible XI is easier said than done.

Nevertheless, because Montella has previously used a 3-4-3 formation at Sampdoria and Roma, we've used that very system for the line-up below.

AC MILAN'S POSSIBLE STARTING XI

GK - GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA

RWB - ANDREA CONTI

CB - MATEO MUSACCHIO

CB - LEONARDO BONUCCI

CB - ALESSIO ROMAGNOLI

LWB - RICARDO RODRIGUEZ

CDM - RENATO SANCHES

CDM - LUCAS BIGLIA

CAM - HAKAN CALHANOGLU

ST - ANDRE SILVA

ST - ALVARO MORATA

Others: Franck Kessie, Fabio Borini, Giacomo Bonaventura and Suso.

Wow. Having also tied Gianluigi Donnarumma down to a new four-year deal recently, Montella will be extremely confident that his side can win Serie A next season.

However, the signing of Bonucci from Juventus is arguably the biggest coup, given his experience at centre-back and world-class status.

"Technically, I think that he (Bonucci) and Sergio Ramos are the strongest central defenders in the world," said Montella upon the 30-year-old's arrival.

"Coaching him is a dream come true. Captain? In my mind I have more captains, I will talk with the club about this matter."
