Eight days after he was locked in the back of an ambulance and driven into a truck, Braun Strowman made his return to RAW.

The Monster Among Men waited until the main event during Monday's episode to make his return and cause the chaos that he has become known for.

A controversial ending

The main event on Monday was a one on one clash between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe with the chance to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Summer Slam on the line.

The two heavyweights battled it out in a very physical match at the end of what had already been an important episode of RAW.

As the match was drawing to a very obvious close, the well known sound of Strowman's music rang around the arena.

The Monster Among Men would make his way to the ring and interject himself into the match.

While there is no doubt that Strowman was targeting Reigns, Joe was not able to avoid his path of destruction.

The two collided but the Samoan Submission Machine was unable to tame Strowman and was left laying in the middle of the ring while Strowman turned his focus to Reigns.

Both men were demolished by Strowman but more importantly, no winner was decided on the night, meaning that Lesnar still has no challenger for Summer Slam.

Either Joe or Reigns could easily progress to face Lesnar while Strowman himself was tipped for a Universal title chance before suffering an elbow injury earlier this year.

After RAW went off the air, a WWE Network special saw RAW GM Kurt Angle sit down with Renee Young and reveal that he will have a decision on the match by next week's episode.

A big night for the GM

Ahead of RAW, Angle had announced that he would be revealing his big secret live on the air to the entire WWE Universe.

Given the Hall of Famer's recent secrecy over a series of text messages and his fears over losing his job and his family, fans were very intrigued to hear what he had to reveal.

In a segment that would see American Alpha member Jason Jordan revealed as the newest member of Monday Night RAW and Angle's illegitimate son, the RAW GM clearly had his hands full for one night.
