Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future has been much discussed this summer.Back in January, the Gabon international revealed why he was so keen to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season."If I want to go to the next level, I need to leave in summer. But we must see the proposals and if I'm going to play. Real Madrid is still a dream, but there has been too much noise,” he said.Despite admitting that he wanted to go to “the next level” early reports suggested Aubameyang had agreed a move to China, with Fabio Cannavaro’s Tianjin Quanjian negotiating a deal. Those reports appeared to be wide of the mark, though, and Aubameyang has since been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea. With Antonio Conte telling Diego Costa he doesn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge, the Premier League champions are on the lookout for a new striker. They missed out on Romelu Lukaku after being pipped by Manchester United and have since been linked with moves for Alvaro Morata, Sergio Aguero and Andrea Belotti. But it seemed like the most realistic move would be for Aubameyang. However, there’s bad news as far as Chelsea are concerned.According to Germany outlet Kicker, and Sky Sports in Germany, Aubameyang will now remain at Dortmund this summer.

Kicker state: “It is clear that Borussia will start the season with last year’s top goalscorer”.

Aubameyang scored an incredible 31 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches last season it wasn’t just Chelsea that were keen on signing the 28-year-old this summer.

He almost moved to Paris Saint-Germain early in the transfer window, while big-spending AC Milan have also been linked.

But it seems they can forget about signing Aubameyang because he’s set to stay in Dortmund for now.
