Ivan Perisic is expected to join Manchester United this summer, with the Red Devils close to agreeing a fee with Inter Milan. This is according to Sky Sports, who understand the Croatian winger didn’t want to fly to China on Tuesday for Inter’s pre-season tour of China.Despite that, Perisic was named in the Inter squad by new boss Luciano Spalletti and could even feature against Schalke on Friday. The fact Perisic has travelled certainly makes it harder for United to complete the deal over the next few days, as was expected. But as Manchester Evening News reporter Stuart Mathieson pointed out on Twitter, deals can still be done. There’s still a chance that Perisic will join the Red Devils in the next week or two.

Video: Perisic has a special move he uses all the time

If Perisic does end up joining United, then fans can expect to see his signature move on a fairly regular basis.

What’s his signature move, we hear you cry.

You may have seen the footage of Perisic owning Chelsea’s new signing Antonio Rudiger during a Serie A match between Inter and AS Roma last season.

Well, it turns out that this is Perisic’s preferred skill when trying to get the better of opposing full-backs.

As this video shows…

United fans will be hoping the 28-year-old has a few more skills in his locker, although he does seem to execute this particular move to perfection.

Mourinho asked if United are signing Perisic

Jose Mourinho was asked how close United are to signing Perisic following his side’s 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake on Monday night.

"No idea. No idea my friend,” the Portuguese coach was quoted as saying by BBC Sport, keeping his cards close to his chest. “No idea."
