A longtime WWE Superstar is wrapping up his career.

Mark Henry has revealed that he will be wrapping up his career as an in-ring performer in WWE soon. He has been with the company since 1996 after being named “The World's Strongest Man.” He was just 24-years of age when he decided to get into the pro wrestling business.

His first big run came in 1998 when he joined the Nation of Domination with Farooq, The Rock, Kama Mustafa, and D'Lo Brown. Later down the line, Henry turned into a fan favorite and was seen on television romancing WWE women from Chyna to Mae Young as part of the "Sexual Chocolate" character.

In 2000, he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to improve his conditioning and wrestling skills. After two years away from the main roster, he returned to WWE TV as part of a member of the SmackDown live brand and rose up the ranks throughout the years.

During his time with the company, he held three championships. The WWE World Heavyweight Title, ECW Title, and European Title. He was also a three-time Slammy Award winner.

The WWE Network aired a new episode of "Table For 3" on Monday night after WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle’s exclusive interview with Jason Jordan ended.

The episode featured Henry and WWE Hall of Famers Ron Simmons and The Godfather. During the show, Henry dropped a bombshell by revealing a bit of information regarding what's to come in his WWE career.

The longtime Superstar officially announced that his 21-year in-ring career is soon coming to an end. He will transition from being a WWE Superstar to a WWE employee in the next few months. Henry said that he's looking forward to helping all of the up-and-coming male and female talent develop and become successful in the company.

This is the right role for him right now. WWE has stopped using him on television, and his role as an active Superstar has been downplayed over the years. It’s good to see that he will remain with the company and help the younger talents. It’s possible that he becomes a coach in NXT down the line.
