In announcing Jordan as his son, Angle also revealed that the former Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion has also joined the RAW roster.

The future plans for Jordan now appear to be intertwined with the RAW General Manager and Pro Wrestling Sheet have revealed the future plans for both men.

The report published on Tuesday claims that not only will the storyline be central on Monday Night RAW, but it could also be set over a period of several months.

Setting the story over several months will follow Angle as he attempts to become somewhat of a father figure to Jordan on RAW.

The former member of American Alpha is now expected to receive a midcard level push on RAW and could always rise even higher.

Depending upon his popularity during his run with Angle, where Jordan could find himself really does depend on the fans.

As for his former team of American Alpha, it appears that the team's run together has now ended with his partner Chad Gable not set to join Jordan on Monday nights.

Gable is reportedly set to remain on Smackdown and with him having competed against AJ Styles and Kevin Owens in recent weeks, the Blue brand could have high hopes for gable in the future too.

A missed opportunity?

While Jordan should be a very interesting addition to the RAW roster the chance to add American Alpha to the show looks like it has been missed.

RAW's Tag Team division has recently found itself very low on teams with a face persona and Alpha could have added another legitimate name to the list.

Currently, only the Hardy Boyz and the team of Rhyno and Heath Slater are face teams within the RAW division.

Meanwhile the Revival, Gallows and Anderson and the RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro are all heels.
