Marco Verratti has been strongly linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.Back in June, it was widely reported that the classy Italian midfielder had told PSG he wanted to leave the Parc des Princes in order to seal a move to Barcelona.French publication Le Parisien - per Catalan newspaper Sport - reported that PSG’s capitulation against Barça in the Champions League last season was the ‘final blow’.Several weeks later, the 24-year-old insisted he was happy at PSG, despite the speculation surrounding his future."We've gone through some tough times over the last few days," Verratti told PSG's website, per Goal, last month."I saw what my agent said and I just wanted to say that they are not my words at all. And I want to apologise to everyone at the club, the president, the fans and the players."I am very happy here, we got back to training today. I am thrilled to be back here and working again. I know the club trusts me and I really want to apologise once again. I don't talk much as I have a lot of respect for Paris Saint-Germain."I have become the player I am today thanks to the club and that's why I am deeply sorry. They were not my words and he made a big mistake. I hope that this will not happen again. Everyone wants to focus on working and I too want to do my best, as I always do for the club."

United are reportedly keen on Verratti

However, Verratti has been linked with a move away from PSG again this week, with Manchester United now reportedly keen on the midfielder.

Why United fans suddenly believe they can sign Verratti

And United fans on Twitter suddenly believe Verratti could end up at Old Trafford following a pretty significant development.

According to Sportitalia, per Football Italia, Verratti is considering leaving his agent Donato Di Campli.

That in itself isn’t enough to get United fans excited.

What is, is the news that Verratti could be set to become a client of Mino Raiola, the super agent who already has several clients on United’s books including Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku.

Raiola was also the man who helped the Red Devils sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer.
