You might recall a certain 13-year-old going by the name of Karomoko Dembele shooting into the spotlight last October.That's because Dembele made his debut for Celtic's U-20 team during a 3-1 win over Hearts.And despite playing with and against boys much older and more developed, the midfielder seemingly impressed on his big step up.Since then, various videos of Dembele's highlights throughout the age groups have gone viral and he is widely regarded to be football's 'next big thing'.It also prompted some other clubs - including Arsenal and Manchester United - to register their interest in the young prodigy.However, any speculation surrounding a possible move was put to bed last month when Celtic were able to tie Dembele's future down at the club with an official contract.That isn't the only big decision the now 14-year-old has had to make, though.Even at 14, Dembele has had to think about his international future.

He has already represented Scotland and England meanwhile Ivory Coast are also thought to be interested.

But with Scotland set to take on England in a U-16 tournament at the end of the month, which one would he decide to play for?

According to The Sun, Scotland have emerged victorious on this occasion and Dembele could feature in games against the Three Lions, Qatar and Uruguay.

That doesn't mean his England hopes are over, however, as the Celtic wonderkid is free to play for both nations until he competes in a Under-17 UEFA tournament.

Dembele reportedly agonised over the call but is now confident he has made the right decision to stick with the country where he is currently being developed at club level.

But you can guarantee England haven't given up on the fight for one of the most talented youngsters in the world just yet.
