Sasha Banks has had a tremendous year so far in 2017.

"The Boss" signed with WWE back in 2012 when she was brought to the NXT developmental brand, where she put on spectacular matches against the likes of Bayley and Charlotte Flair, capturing the NXT Women's Championship in the process. She was brought on to the main roster in 2015 as part of the Women's Revolution, where she debuted alongside the likes of Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, and Becky Lynch.

After a year on the main roster she began an epic feud with Charlotte Flair and the pair changed female wrestling in the WWE forever. After putting on hellacious matches, including the first ever women's Hell In A Cell match as well as the first ever women's Falls Count Anywhere match, the pair swapped the RAW Women's Championship back-and-forth, bringing Banks' total count to a total of three championship reigns.

Banks helped her longtime best-friend Bayley defeat Charlotte for the RAW Women's Championship and will now take on "The Hugger" on next week's episode of Monday Night RAW to determine who will challenge Alexa Bliss for the title at SummerSlam next month.

Recently, "The Boss" did an interview with News.com.au to discuss a number of professional wrestling topics, and talked about the Women's Revolution that she helped lead the way for (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"It's changed so much. I remember watching it as a kid and the women weren't really featured like the guys. I was like no, I want to be in the WWE, but I don't want to do what they're doing at the moment.

"I kind of caught like the MTV era, ladies in bikinis and beautiful women, not really throwing it down like the guys. I told myself when I was ten that I wanted to change what it meant to be a diva in the WWE.

"It's crazy that we're here, we're superstars, we're not divas anymore. It's changed so much, I thank the women that came before me and who I work with today, we've done it together, we're changing the world right now."

Banks also talked about attempting to top what she has accomplished this year going forward in her career, which will prove to be a difficult task given all she has done:

"I don't know how you top it, I think you just keep getting better and keep striving. Just to make it a normal thing that people are not surprised women are doing these matches. I think the next goal is to main event a WrestleMania."
