When it comes to world-class players, very few English teams can claim to have had as many as Manchester United throughout the Premier League era.Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Paul Scholes, Nemanja Vidic - the list is genuinely never-ending.It was during Sir Alex Ferguson's 27-year reign when United's very best played for the club, having won 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and the Champions League twice. It all started with 'Fergie's Fledglings' in the 1990s, which featured David Beckham, Giggs, the Neville brothers (Gary and Phil), Nicky Butt and Scholes. The famous sextuple spearheaded a trophy-laden era at United and, as a result, are all widely regarded as club legends. So many world-class players have blessed Old Trafford - but who was the best of them all? It's a question so often asked of former United players and the same old names always seem to crop up.Some say it's Scholes, some say it's Giggs, some say it's Ronaldo.Answering the question is entirely subjective, of course, but as part of Sky Sports' Super Six on Thursday, Giggs and the Neville brothers were tasked with coming to a group decision.Giggs was the first to answer, saying: "Scholes [and] Ronaldo," before Phil responded: "Giggs [and] Ronaldo."Gary then chipped in, adding: "I say [Roy] Keane, Giggs and Scholes, always. I've given you three. I always say those three players."The trio all gave completely different answers and so whittled it down to two names: Scholes and Ronaldo.Gary then said: "So who is it? Who is the one? Ronaldo or Scholes?" and after some deliberation, they came to a final decision.

"Scholesy," Giggs suddenly blurted, before the Neville brothers nodded in agreement and both said: "Scholesy."

"His awareness and controlling of a game," Gary continued, to which Phil added: "Passing... long pass, short pass. He knew where the ball was going to land."

Giggs agreed: "As a player, he was on the same wavelength as you. You just never had to break stride with his passes whether it be 10 yards, whether it be 40 yards. He was just always pinpoint. Perfect."

So there you have it, Giggs and the Neville brothers are all in agreement that Scholes is their greatest ever teammate. Sorry, Cristiano.
