Manchester United added a third pre-season victory to their belt on Friday morning by beating Manchester City in the first ever Manchester derby outside of the UK.
Goals from Romelu Lukaku - his second since joining for £75 million - and Marcus Rashford secured an impressive 2-0 victory in the International Champions Cup.
It was Lukaku who stole the show against City, the Belgian breaking the deadlock with a sublime effort after being put through on goal by Paul Pogba.
Lukaku headed the ball past an onrushing Ederson and slotted home from a tight angle, despite two City defenders rushing back towards goal.
Jose Mourinho was full of praise for his summer signing after the game, telling MUTV that he "couldn't be happier" with the start Lukaku has made.
"[He is] a team player that holds the ball, waits for support and allows the team to leave pressure zones and to keep possession in the opposition half," Mourinho told MUTV.
"People look to goals and chances but I have a different perspective. "I couldn't be happier with what he's doing.
"I couldn't be happier that we could sign him before the pre-season because these ten days of work with his team-mates is fantastic for his understanding."
United fans are impressed by what they've seen from Lukaku so far, even more so after the way he celebrated his opener against City.
Lukaku has copped a lot of criticism since joining the Red Devils from Everton, such as how he isn't worth £75 million and that his first touch isn't good enough.
Well, after demonstrating his pace, touch and finishing to score against City, the 24-year-old produced the perfect reaction by pointing to the crowd, nodding and holding his hand to his ear.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU"
Now that's how you silence your critics. Lukaku has made a fantastic start as a United player but he must keep delivering the goods to further prove his worth.
Nevertheless, United fans loved Lukaku's celebration, as you can see in the Twitter reaction below.

Lukaku wasn't the only player to impress against City, with Rashford and Pogba both putting in impressive performances.
While Rashford was typically energetic and clinical in front of goal, it was Pogba's delicious pass that played Lukaku in behind City's defence. These are exciting times for United.
