Frozen out at Paris Saint-Germain, Hatem Ben Arfa posted a brilliant meme regarding Neymar's potential transfer to the French capital.

The 30-year-old winger made just five Ligue 1 starts last season and was left out of their squad for the pre-season tour.

Signed after an incredible season with Nice last summer, the troubled Ben Arfa has one year left on his deal at PSG and has been told that he can leave.

Neymar has been heavily linked with PSG in recent days and reports have suggested that PSG are willing to pay his £198m release clause.

The Brazilian forward has supposedly agreed terms with the French giants and, having signed for Barcelona in 2013, genuinely appears close to leaving for the first time.

Despite impressing at the Camp Nou, Neymar has been in Leo Messi's shadow and could be about to break up the frightening MSN strikeforce.

Ben Arfa's PSG career is seemingly over and he was posting about Neymar's potential move to Paris on Instagram on Friday.

The meme was in French and translates as follows:

"Neymar to PSG: It's going fine.

"However, he is demanding to play with Ben Arfa."

You have to love Ben Arfa for his ridiculous humour.

Ben Arfa's lawyer, Jean-Jacques Bertrand, recently told L’Equipe: “PSG made us understand that Hatem is free to leave, but we made them understand he won’t leave just like that.”

The former Newcastle United and Hull City star may struggle to earn a salary similar to what he earns at PSG.

PSG's summer business

Typically free spending PSG have so far been remarkably quiet, bringing in Yuri Berchiche for €13m and signing up free agent Dani Alves.

They finished second to Monaco in Ligue Un last season, bringing a four year streak of league championship success to an end.

PSG's Qatari owners will surely act.

You have to wonder if they've been unusually quiet in the transfer market in order to launch a spectacular swoop.
