From what we saw during last week's press conferences, Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is going to be an unmissable spectacle on August 26 no matter what chances you give the UFC fighter of winning the boxing match.

Many people don't give Notorious a chance of winning against Money next month in Las Vegas because of the sheer difference in boxing experience between the two, as one has never fought in a professional boxing match, while the other is one more win away from having an all-time professional record of 50-0.

Oscar De La Hoya certainly doesn't believe McGregor has any chance whatsoever against Mayweather in August, and he has said the only way which the UFC star can beat the boxing icon is by doing something which isn't exactly legal inside a boxing ring.

De La Hoya said during a recent interview with TMZ Sports that the only way that McGregor could beat Mayweather is with a "flying kick to the head."

However, on August 26, there will be no kicking as it is a straight up boxing match, and if Notorious does decide to kick Money, he could find a hefty punishment laid upon him as it would be breaking part of the written agreement which allowed the fight to go ahead.

Few have given McGregor a chance a beating arguably the best pound-for-pound boxer the world has ever seen, and De La Hoya is no different. He said if he couldn't beat Mayweather on his heyday, the UFC fighter doesn't stand a chance.

When De La Hoya fought against Mayweather back in 2007, the American won the fight via split decision.

McGregor was able to mask his professional boxing inexperience during the press conferences last week, as he arguably won all four days of the tour thanks to his trash talking, but at the end of the day, this fight will be settled in the ring and not on the microphone.

Nevertheless, the fight is bound to be a spectacle, both inside and outside of the ring, and this should make the fight a classic despite the fact many see it as a mismatch.
