Barcelona have always been blessed with world-class talent, but have they ever had a better front three than their current attacking trio?

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, commonly known as "MSN", have literally scored hundreds of goals together since joining forces back in 2014, but that may be about to end.

That is because Neymar could be on the verge of a world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, with several reports suggesting that he is ready to leave the Nou Camp.

The French club are said to be willing to meet the gigantic £197 million release clause to sign the 25-year-old, who's scored 105 goals in 186 games for Barcelona since joining in 2013.

It goes without saying that his departure would be a massive loss for Barca, but despite all the speculation, Neymar has returned to training after his summer break.

Neymar back in training

The Brazilian superstar linked up with his teammates earlier this week on the club's pre-season tour of America as they prepare for their first season under new coach Ernesto Valverde.

Barca's players are doing all they can to convince him to stay and reject PSG's lucrative offer, but as it stands, his mind appears to be made up and Catalan chiefs are reportedly already planning for a future without him.

In what seemed to be an open training session, ex-Athletic Bilbao boss Valverde was talking to his new set of players ahead of their upcoming International Champions Cup match.

Barca take on Juventus on Saturday night and will be desperate for a win, given that it was the Italian champions who knocked them out of this year's Champions League.

Suarez slaps Neymar

Neymar was the last Barcelona player out of the tunnel, quickly running across the pitch towards the group and waving to fans, receiving a huge ovation from the crowd in the process.

However, as you can see in the video below, Suarez wasn't too happy about his strike partner turning up to training late, giving him a little slap on the head.

Of course, it was nothing serious on Uruguayan's part, with Neymar smiling at him afterwards before the pair, joined by Leo Messi, engaged in discussion.

The end for Neymar at Barca?

Neymar's 2016-17 tally of 20 goals was less than his two previous season totals of 39 and 31, but he did provide an impressive 21 assists in all competitions.

The skilful Brazil international became a much more influential figure for Barcelona last term, and with both Messi and Suarez aged 30, he is the player people thought would eventually lead the club into a new era.

Only time will tell whether or not Neymar swaps Catalonia for Paris, but we all know that the footballing world would be rocked to its core were a deal to happen this summer.
