WWE is always willing to do business with athletes and other organisation’s that will help them increase their ratings, and help them to continue growing their brand.

We see that when movie stars appear on Monday Night RAW for promotion, while we recently had LaVar, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball feature in a controversial MizTV segment which will probably see them never receive another invite.

However, the company is also willing to work with ‘competition’ in the form of the UFC and the fighters on their impressive roster.

So, it came as no surprise that Triple H invited both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr to appear on RAW, where they could continue to hype up their super fight which takes place next month.

Over the past week, it’s been Cris Cyborg who’s been actively pursuing a match at SummerSlam against Becky Lynch, following on from their entertaining Twitter spat where they both traded plenty of insults.

However, if there’s one fighter that was close, or could still be close to featuring in a match, it's former UFC bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey.

Rousey first made her presence felt at WrestleMania 31 where she assisted The Rock in taking out both Stephanie McMahon and The Game, and recently attended the Mae Young Classic tapings to support Shayna Baszler.

WRESTLEMANIA 34

There had been several teases during the tapings that something would happen opposite the WWE female athletes, and now Cageside Seats have revealed that there could be a big plan in the works down the line.

According to the source, the WWE has definitely secured the services of Rousey in some capacity, claiming that the likelihood is she’ll be featured at WrestleMania again next year in New Orleans.

If their claims are to be believed, then we could see Rousey compete in a singles match against none other than Charlotte Flair.

A match between Rousey and Charlotte had been speculated ever since The Queen was called up to the main roster and steamrolled through the opposite to cement herself as one of the greatest in history.

It was believed something would come to fruition in the build-up to WrestleMania 33 this year, but perhaps Rousey’s loss to Amanda Nunes and a second exile from the public put an end to that happening, for a little while at least.

Charlotte has confirmed her interest in battling Rousey in the past, and if the latter is open to working with WWE in that capacity, then this could be a huge moment for the women next year.
