Batshuayi sent two brilliant tweets

As well as his obvious talent on the football pitch, Batshuayi has proven himself to be quite a character on Twitter. And the two tweets he posted after his brace versus Arsenal left the club’s fans in stitches.

⚽⚽ Two goals + one disallowed (really ?! 🙄🙄) + 1 assist 🎁 … was a good day overall 😬💙 Very happy with this start !!,” he wrote.

Batshuayi followed that up with a message to EA Sports to improve his week foot rating on FIFA 17, both of his goals coming with his left foot.

He added: “R1 + â• & powerful â• = weak foot 5* upgrade needed bro @EASPORTSFIFA #Iknowyourewatching #itsinthegame 👀”.

If Conte is willing to allow Batshuayi and Morata to go head-to-head to start, then the Marseille striker has made a fine start to the battle.

Conte: 'Batshuayi is a young player with great potential'

The Italian noted the improvement he has seen in the Belgium international since his arrival from Marseille last year.

“Last season it was a difficult season for Michy but don’t forget he scored a very important goal to give us the title,” Conte said after the 3-0 win, per Chelsea’s website.

“I think last season he had a bit of difficulty because it is not easy to play in the Premier League. It is a physical league and a very strong league.

“After one year he is working very well and he is improving. Me and my staff want to improve every player and Batshuayi is a young player with great potential and it is important for him and for us to work in this way, and for him to understand what I want.

“For me the striker is very important, he is a point of reference. If he stays in the right position, it is easier for us, for the team and to play good football.”
