Tony Bellew’s stock has never been higher.

Fresh off his shock win against David Haye, the Liverpudlian is now considering his next step and his next opponent.

Bellew has teased the possibility of a rematch with Haye, as well as the tantalising prospect of matches against the likes of WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, and unified light-heavyweight champion Andre Ward.

The ‘Hayemaker’ has suggested that he would be up for a rematch after he injured his Achilles during their fight back in March, something which he pins the defeat on.

Whether this will materialise, though, is another matter, as Bellew has gone on record with his ill-feeling towards Haye, both before and after their fight, and even stated that he ‘regrets’ embracing the former WBA heavyweight champion following their bout.

When asked about the possibility to of a rematch with the ‘Hayefaker’ (as Bellew calls him), the 34-year-old refused to reject the possibility.

“We’ll see. Time will tell. I’ll make my decision when I see fit and we’ll go from there,” he said.

Bellew did, however, admit to being in discussion with New Zealand’s Joseph Parker.

“Joseph Parker is heavyweight champion of the world and I am definitely interested in facing him.

"We will see how the negotiations go. My team and Joseph’s team are speaking. We are getting somewhere. I like the Joseph Parker fight. Heavyweight champion of the world, it does have a certain ring to it. I do like the thought of it.

“Joseph is a unit, he’s a heavyweight. There is no such thing as a small heavyweight. I am not small, he is not small, I believe me and Joseph Parker make for a very, very good fight.

"He is a come-forward style fighter, I am a box-fighter. It has all the earmarks for a classic fight. Time will tell. If it makes pounds, it makes sense. And believe you me it will make a lot of pounds.”

The next possibility is a fight with Andre Ward, who is often labelled as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, something Bellew is aware of.

However, that hasn't stopped him wanting the fight with the 33-year-old.

When talking about Ward, Bellew continued: “Andre Ward is pound-for-pound king of the world, so they say. Everybody’s writing me off if I take that fight. It’s a fight that I like, so we’ll see."
