Despite being the only club in the Premier League not to announce any new signings so far this summer, Tottenham kicked off their pre-season campaign in style.

The north London outfit produced some magic in Orlando, seeing off Paris Saint-Germain 4-2 in the International Champions Cup.

The Parisians have dominated transfer talk in recent days as they attempt to lure Alexis Sanchez and Neymar to the French capital and they were ahead after just six minutes in Florida.

Edinson Cavani gave them the lead after a horrendous defensive error from Cameron Carter-Vickers, with Adrien Rabiot stealing the ball and feeding the Uruguayan hitman.

Spurs looked rusty in the early stages but they were bailed out by a fairly familiar source halfway through the first period; a Christian Eriksen wonder goal.

The Danish midfielder has proved since his move from Ajax in 2013 that he is capable of the spectacular and this goal may just be his best yet.

PSG maybe desperate to sign Neymar in a world-record £197m deal but after seeing Eriksen's performance, they may be tempted to switch their attention to the Spurs man.

Not bad, eh? Few players in world football can strike a ball better than Eriksen, with the playmaker also renowned for his set-piece expertise.

Spurs then took a firm grip on the game, with Eric Dier - who was reportedly the subject of a £40m bid from Manchester United - giving them the lead shortly after.

Javier Pastore made it 2-2 just before the break and after an underwhelming second period, it appeared the tie would have to be settled on penalties despite Kevin Trapp seeing red.

However, Toby Alderweireld made it 3-2 before Harry Kane sealed the impressive victory right at the death.

After witnessing Eriksen's piece of artistry, Spurs fans will certainly feel more at ease about their club announcing no new acquisitions as of yet.
