A video clip of RB Leipzig's training session on Monday went viral yesterday when Liverpool target Naby Keita got involved in a heated bust-up with teammate Diego Demme.Keita, who had been on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from Demme earlier in the session, got his revenge by producing a scything tackle of his own on the German. As a result, Demme was seen writhing in agony on the pitch and Leipzig's manager Ralph Hasenhüttl opted to bring a premature end to the training match.Training ground bust-ups among teammates occur a lot more frequently than fans probably think. Keita was just unfortunate that this particular session was being filmed, especially given the current speculation surrounding his future.Liverpool have seen two club-record bids for the Guinea international rejected and Leipzig have shown little sign of being persuaded into parting ways with their star midfielder.Jurgen Klopp and co. will be forgiven for hoping Monday's incident would increase the chances of Keita becoming a Liverpool player. However, Leipzig have acted quickly to brush the clash under the carpet, at least publically.Their Twitter account published a video of Demme resting up on a medical bed."Hello RBL fans," Demme says."My knee is looking fine and I'll be back on the pitch in a few days."I'm in safe hands here..."And as you can see in the video below, Keita is at his bedside and offers him a quick handshake to show all is forgotten.
Not awkward or the least bit cringey whatsoever...
Of course, Liverpool fans didn't buy a single second of it and are still hoping the Leipzig star will be on the move.
The good news is it doesn't look like the injury sustained by Demme is as serious as it could have easily been.
