Bayern Munich's new club record signing Corentin Tolisso looked very sharp as the Bavarian giants beat Chelsea 3-2 in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday.Carlo Ancelotti's side were 3-0 up in the first half thanks to a brilliant Thomas Muller brace and some questionable Chelsea defending.Goals from Marcos Alonso and Michy Batshuayi restored some pride for Antonio Conte's men.The Blues will stay in Singapore and are due to face Inter Milan on Saturday before returning to London for the Community Shield final against Arsenal.Chelsea comfortably won the Premier League title in Conte's first season in charge but Manchester City's lavish summer spending has led to the bookies making Pep Guardiola's side the favourites.Bayern Munich are runaway favourites for the Bundesliga title, having won the league on five successive occasions.Signed for a club record €41.5m from Lyon, Tolisso produced a moment of magic to explain why Bayern chose to splash the cash on him.Receiving a pass in his own half, Cesc Fabregas and N'Golo Kante quickly zoned in on the 22-year-old central midfielder.Tolisso produced a sublime touch to kickstart a Bayern attack, leaving Fabregas and Kante in a heap in his wake.Fabregas slid in recklessly, completely missed his opponent and ended up tackling his own midfield partner.
Tolisso signed a five year deal, having won his first international cap for France earlier in 2017.
He is expected to fill the void left by legendary Spanish midfielder Xavi Alonso, who retired at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said: “We’re really pleased we’ve been able to sign such a young and interesting player ahead of stiff competition from abroad. Corentin Tolisso was Carlo Ancelotti’s wish for our midfield.”

When I was little, it was already a club that meant something to me. There were French players there like Willy Sagnol and Bixente Lizarazu, there were big names…"
He'll be a fans favourite in Munich in no time if he keeps on producing moment of magic comparable to Marco Veratti.
