Brock Lesnar continues to roll on with his reign as WWE Universal Champion.

"The Beast" began his reign of terror on the WWE after he became the first man to ever defeat The Undertaker in WrestleMania history. He then went on to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as he dominated opponents such as John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and many more.

It wasn't until Survivor Series last year when Lesnar's dominance was met with a fury, as former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg made his return to WWE to challenge "The Beast" in a dream match of sorts. It took Goldberg just over a minute to defeat Lesnar, shocking the WWE Universe, and it didn't stop there.

During the Royal Rumble match just a couple of months later, Goldberg made quick work of "The Beast" yet again and eliminated him rather quickly. After Goldberg captured the Universal Championship from Kevin Owens at Fastlane, it set up a huge title fight between Goldberg and Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.

"The Beast" was finally able to get over his slump against Goldberg and got the win, capturing the Universal Title in the process. His first title defense didn't come for a few months later at the Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view (PPV) three months later. Lesnar took on Samoa Joe, who downed the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Bray Wyatt in a Fatal Five-Way match at Extreme Rules to determine the new No. 1-contender.

In the months leading up to their bout, Joe brought the fight to Lesnar unlike any of his former opponents before him, attacking "The Beast" from behind and showing absolutely no fear towards the former UFC heavyweight champion. Although he put up one heck of a fight, Joe took one F5 and was put down for the three count after an epic brawl with Lesnar.

As we have previously mentioned, Lesnar has been advertised for a pair of upcoming SmackDown Live Events both this month and the next.
