It appears that another match for SummerSlam has been revealed.

The saga between Big Cass and Enzo Amore continued on this past week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. After Big Cass was revealed as Amore’s attacker a few weeks ago and their match at the Great Balls of Fire PPV (pay-per-view) event, WWE booked another match between the Superstars.

It was very similar to their match at Great Balls of Fire in terms of it being a squash match that saw Cass defeat his former tag team partner in quick fashion.

Throughout the storyline, WWE has injected a former WWE Champion into the picture, and that is The Big Show.

Following their match on Raw, The Big Show came down to make the save for Amore, who was beating down by Cass. However, Cass caught him with a big boot and beat down the veteran Superstars.

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer that Big Cass vs. The Big Show is planned for this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Meltzer indicated in the past this match might be going down at SummerSlam, but after the angle on Raw, it is much clearer now that this match will take place at the biggest event of the summer.

WWE officials are very high on Cass due to his look and size. He is expected to receive a push coming out of his split from Amore. It’s a smart move by WWE to book a young prospect against a veteran. It helps them in the ring and over with the WWE Universe. It should be a fine big man kind of match at the upcoming event.

The SummerSlam pay-per-view event takes place on August 20th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured on the card. WWE will be adding more matches to the card in the coming weeks. Here is how the current lineup looks like:

--- Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Brock Lesnar © vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe.

--- SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Naomi © vs. Natalya.

--- SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss © vs. Bayley.
