Ferguson pounces for Amos

Published Add your comment

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has raided his father's club Manchester United to sign goalkeeper Ben Amos on loan.

Amos, 19, has signed a one-month deal at London Road and will provide cover after first-choice Joe Lewis was dismissed at Blackburn in midweek.

The teenager has made one appearance for Sir Alex`s side - in a Carling Cup win over Middlesbrough in 2008 - and he will battle with James McKeown to start against Barnsley on Saturday.
