Peterborough forward George Boyd has set his sights on winning a Scotland call-up after his fine start to the Championship season.

Boyd has already scored nine times for Darren Ferguson`s side this season and is confident of breaking into George Burley`s set-up.

He told Press Association Sport: "They called me to say that I wasn`t involved in the last squad but hopefully if I keep playing well then I will get another call-up."

He added: "The full squad is obviously the main target and if I keep scoring goals in the Championship then I feel I have a chance.

"But my main priority is keeping Peterborough in the league and whatever comes on top of that is a bonus."
