It's been a tough first season for Michy Batshuayi at Chelsea. The striker arrived from Marseille in a £33million deal last summer.Antonio Conte will have brought him in thinking he would provide competition for Diego Costa, but he handed the Belgian just one Premier League start.Given that he played such a peripheral role, seven goals in all competitions isn't too bad a tally. And of course, he found the back of the net for one of the most important goals of the season as Chelsea lifted the title away to West Brom. With Costa almost certain to depart in the coming weeks, he'll be hoping for more opportunities next season.Alvaro Morata will be first choice following his £60m switch from Real Madrid, but during his time at the Bernabeu, he showed he was able to play up front alongside other big names.Whereas Costa operates best as a lone striker, Conte may be able to accommodate Batshuayi better alongside his newest addition. Then again, the 23-year-old can't rely on it. Earlier this week, Sky Sports reported that the Blues want Swansea's Fernando Llorente to provide back-up for Morata.
Batshuayi's classy goal

Judging by footage from Chelsea's pre-season training, he's doing just that.
Check out his trick shot from a corner:
To top it off, he followed it up with a brilliant tweet:
Ultimately, it doesn't matter how Batshuayi bangs them in, as long as he improves.
Having kept Marseille in Ligue 1 almost single-handedly two seasons ago, big things were expected of him when he arrived in English football.
It's been very difficult for him to live up to that hype at Chelsea, but there's definitely a player in there somewhere.
