Brock Lesnar is one of the most ruthless competitors in the history of sports and entertainment.

"The Beast" immediately made his presence felt in WWE with four WWE title reigns, a 2002 King Of The Ring tournament win, a 2003 Royal Rumble winner, and currently reigns as the Universal Championship. Although Lesnar has been killing it in WWE during his current run, rumors have begun to pick up suggesting he is planning a return to mixed martial arts (MMA) competition in the UFC later this year.

Lesnar is a former UFC heavyweight champion who has earned wins over some of the most respected names in the history of the sport.

Rumor has it that the UFC is targeting a late December return for the Universal Champion, with a superfight in mind against former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Jones is currently set to compete in the main event of this weekend's (Sat. July 29, 2017) UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) card from Anaheim, California.

Lesnar is regarded as one of the biggest draws in UFC history, however, one former Monday Night RAW General Manager doesn't think that could be he case anymore. Former WCW President Eric Bischoff took to his podcast, Bischoff On Wrestling, and expressed doubt in "The Beasts's" ability to pull in huge numbers in the UFC anymore (quotes via WrestleZone):

"I don’t know how much of a draw Brock is going to be. You are kind of going back to the well to the guy whose last fight he beat Mark Hunt but he failed a drug test shortly thereafter. That’s not necessarily a stellar performance that people are going to be remembering very well when he comes back.

"Prior to that he didn’t really end his UFC career, or schedule, in any kind of blistering way. He got his ass handed to him. Brock is an amazing performer in the world of pro wrestling and sports entertainment. He’s an amazing athlete and I have nothing but respect for him.

"Take all of that out and just look objectively at his wins, his losses and what his track record has been in UFC. I’m just not sure that anybody could make a case that bringing Brock Lesnar back is going to provide some kind of massive financial infusion.

"It may. I hope for Brock’s sake it does. I just don’t think the track record says that it will."
