The idea that Neymar could actually complete a world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain is becoming more realistic by the day.

On Friday morning, we got the strongest sense yet that the Brazilian is ready to quit Barcelona for the French giants.

Neymar was involved in a bust-up with Barça teammate Nelson Semedo in training which ended with the Brazilian storming out of the session.

Neymar is said to have reacted furiously to a challenge from Semedo, who arrived earlier in the month from Benfica.

The video, which you can see below, speaks volumes about Neymar’s current mindset. He tried to follow Semedo as the Portuguese defender walked away but had to be restrained by Sergio Busquets.

Another hint that Neymar is PSG-bound came when Ctrip, one of China’s largest travel agencies, confirmed that the forward’s scheduled trip to Asia has been cancelled dye to “transfer issues”.

"Mr. Neymar and his team occupy themselves dealing with transfer issues and they cannot say for sure whether they could manage to arrive in Shanghai on 31 July,” a statement read, per Goal.

Even the most defiant Barcelona fan must admit that there’s a genuine possibility the 25-year-old is leaving.

There’s no question more will come out about Neymar’s scrap with Semedo but it’s worth revisiting Barça’s training session from a week ago, Semedo’s first at his new club.

Neymar welcomed the 23-year-old to the big time with a cheeky nutmeg that Semedo could do nothing but laugh about. The video was posted on Twitter on July 20.

Neymar, the subject of a £196 million offer from PSG, has won two La Liga titles and the Champions League during his four years at Barcelona but he now feels like it’s time to concentrate on some personal goals.

That’s according to a source close to the former Santos star, anyway.

"Only a miracle will keep him, he really has made up his mind to leave," the source told Sky Sports News earlier in the week.

"At the age of 25, he thinks it's his time to win the Ballon d'Or," the source added.

"He believes he can be the best player in the world at another big club."

The Brazilian was supposed to be Lionel Messi’s heir at the Camp Nou.

Messi, 30, is showing no signs of slowing down but Neymar probably stands a better chance of winning the Ballon d’Or in Spain than he does in France; the last time a player from Ligue 1 claimed the individual prize was in 1991.
