With the club football season kicking off again in August, teams have been battling it out on their pre-season tours.A number of Europe's biggest clubs have faced each other all over the world, with some travelling to the United States and others visiting the Far East. Manchester United came up against rivals Manchester City, as well as the two biggest clubs in Spain during their tour of the US. Jose Mourinho's side beat Real Madrid on penalties before losing to Barcelona three days later. The Spanish giants clash in an El Classico match in Miami on Saturday night as well. It's not just American fans who have been treated to some massive games. Fans in Beijing and Singapore have seen Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan this month. Antonio Conte's Chelsea beat the Gunners 3-0 last weekend, before losing 3-2 to Munich on Tuesday. Blues fans were hoping for a response from their team on Saturday when they came up against Luciano Spalletti's Inter side. The Italian's raced into a 2-0 lead before an incredible own goal from Geoffrey Kondogbia got Chelsea right back into the game.   Conte's side were frustrated after a very soft penalty was given against them just before halftime.Stevan Jovetic missed the spot-kick but scored the rebound putting his side 1-0 up at the break. Chelsea had little to complain about after conceding the second goal.Ivan Perisic finished off a sweeping Milan move to make it 2-0 before Kondogbia's incredible own goal from 40 yards gave the English side hope.     It looked as if the comeback was complete when striker Michy Batshuayi put the ball in the net with less than 15 minutes to play.     But before he could even celebrate the flag was raised. However, replays show the Belgian was actually onside and the goal should have stood.Chelsea couldn't find their equaliser after that despite dominating the closing exchanges, meaning they suffered their second defeat of the tour. And after the game, Batshuayi took to Twitter to vent his frustrations. He wrote: "Mmmmh disallowed goals even on pre-season still have a bitter taste lol," followed by some straight faced emojis. He did also thank the fans in Singapore for their support, even though he is clearly disappointed with the result of the game.

Chelsea face Arsenal next weekend in the Community Shield before the season kicks off five days later.

The Blues will need to step up their performances if they're going to challenge for the title again this season.
