August is finally upon us, and that can only mean one thing.

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is right around the corner.

Yes, in 25 days time, Money and Notorious will come together and share the boxing ring in arguably the most lucrative fight of all time, eclipsing the records set by the American when he squared off against Manny Pacquiao.

The months of trash talking and the months of hype all come down to August 26 as Las Vegas takes centre stage.

Heading into fight night, it's very clear who is the favourite.

The guy who has 49 professional boxing matches under his belt, winning them all? Or the guy who's never stepped foot in a boxing ring, but has a solid record in UFC?

Yes, McGregor can punch, and yes he has the capability of knocking out an opponent, but boxing is a different ball game altogether.

The Irishman won't be able to take down Mayweather and pound him on the floor, nor will he be able to throw flying elbows or kicks throughout the fight.

Simply put, this is Mayweather's fight to lose, and should he lose, it will be deemed as one of the biggest shocks in sporting history.

Having said this, there is a certain someone who thinks McGregor could stun the world come August 26.

That someone is none other than Chris Eubank, who's son is actually sparring with Money ahead of the fight.

Eubank Snr has been discussing the upcoming super fight, and has revealed why he thinks McGregor could send shockwaves through boxing by defeating his American opponent.

Talking about the showdown, Eubank believes it won't come down to technique, but will come down to spirit instead, something the Irish have an abundance of.

He said: "What everyone knows about boxing is missing, what they're not thinking about, what is so obvious, everybody is forgetting that he is an Irishman. They have a spirit that cannot... They are special people.

"They are amazing. So, I'm not talking about Conor McGregor, I'm not talking about an MMA fighter, I'm talking about an Irishman, they are to be respected.

"It's likely that Mayweather Jr is taking his eye off the target. You're fighting an Irishman. That is enough. This fight is a very interesting fight, not because of ability, but because of spirit."
