Cris Cyborg is the most dominant female mixed martial artist of all time.

The Brazilian knockout artist extended her ridiculous win streak to 18 this past weekend (Sat. July 29, 2017) in one of the featured bouts of the UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV). Cyborg got the opportunity to compete for the vacant UFC featherweight title when she took on Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger. After dominating her adversary for two rounds, Justino mercifully ended the fight in the third round with a TKO win.

Cyborg hasn't lost in MMA competition for 12 years since being submitted in her professional debut back in 2005.

The 145-pound division hasn't established itself with contenders quite yet, however, one former UFC bantamweight title challenger seems ready to take on the undefeated Justino. Cat Zingano, a former UFC 135-pound title challenger, seems confident that she has what it takes to dethrone Cyborg from the op of the female MMA mountain.

Zingano was previously undefeated in her fighting career after racking up nine straight wins (including a TKO win over current bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes) before running into Ronda Rousey during her era of dominance.

Following her loss to Rousey, she suffered yet another loss to Julianna Pena via unanimous decision back back at UFC 200 last Summer. Zingano recently took to The MMA Hour to talk about her future plans in fighting, and is expected to return to the Octagon around October. During the interview, "Alpha" talked about the possibility of fighting Cyborg down the line and revealed that she saw a ton of mistakes from the Brazilian in her last outing (quotes via MMA Mania):

“With Cyborg, this is a winnable fight for me,” Zingano told The MMA Hour. “When I’m healthy, none of these girls [can] deal with me, not one, so that’s what I’m looking for. Going into a fight with Cyborg, you need to be as on point as possible.

"She’s got her advantages – whatever, arguably fair or unfair – and I just know that If I’m at 100 percent, she probably can’t even touch me and those are things that are in consideration when trying to achieve my goal.”

A match between Cyborg and Zingano would certainly be a fun one, as both women are known for their ability to put on one heck of a brutal fight. It is very much a dream match up of sorts within the women's division.
