Nemanja Matic joined Manchester United from Chelsea in a £35m deal earlier this week and it appears Antonio Conte is far from pleased about it.The Italian coach recently put pen-to-paper on a new contract at Stamford Bridge after securing the Premier League title during his first season in England.Conte has made it abundantly clear that he's been far from impressed with the club's transfer dealings over the summer.The Blues have spent over £130m on Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.However, Conte believes more reinforcements are needed in order to challenge for silverware on all fronts.The recent sale of Nemanja Matic to a direct rival was labelled a 'strange' decision by Gary Neville and Conte's admission today suggests he may well agree.Based on his response during his Friday press conference, Conte was not involved in the decision to sell Matic.The Serbian midfielder joined in 2014 and has been a regular ever since, winning two Premier League titles during his three-and-a-half year stay in West London.He was left out of Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia but impressed on his Manchester United debut against Sampdoria earlier this week.Speaking ahead of Sunday's Community Shield final with Arsenal, Conte was asked about the decision to sell Matic to a title rival.His response (below) raised many eyebrows among the United and Chelsea supporters.

Famously, former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho also voiced his disapproval when club legend Petr Cech was sold to Arsenal.

Conte's comments were causing quite a stir amongst fans of Manchester United and Chelsea on social media.

There appears to be a growing feeling of discontent among Chelsea fans regarding the way the club is being handled.

Mourinho may well have pulled off a masterstroke by signing Matic for a second time.

With the powerful 29-year-old Serbian sitting in front of the defence, Paul Pogba is expected to be given more freedom to attack.
